Anna Diorio, aka Happy Accident, has been singing and writing poetry for most of her life, coming from a long line of jazz musicians. She has loved hip hop since she was a child and first experienced the power of achieving personal liberation through singing and rhyming at a young age. What’s more, the tremendous difference it makes for young girls to hear positive and uplifting messages from female artists made a huge impact on her. Anna released her first EP, In No Sense Lost, in November 2015 fusing jazz and hip hop in an artistic way. Her most recent album, Inner Grounds, which released last year, represents the next level of her musical expression and the evolution of what’s possible in the jazzy hip-hop art form.
