Dr. Lunthita M. Duthely, RYT-200, MS, EdD, resides in South Florida. She holds two bachelors: a BA in Chemistry and a BS in Computer Science, both from the University of Miami (U.M.). She completed her Masters of Science (MS) at U.M., and her Doctorate of Education (EdD) with the School of Advanced Studies, University of Phoenix.

Dr. Lunthita is a Database Analyst and researcher with U.M. School of Medicine, where she oversees data management for research and projects related to women and infants. She collaborates with faculty, medical students, and graduate and undergraduate students with mining of research databases. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, 451 Research Global Digital Infrastructure, Yoga Alliance, and the Golden Key Honor Society.

Dr. Lunthita volunteers with The Oneness-Heart-Tears and Smiles and The Oneness-Home Peace Run, travelling to 33 countries to facilitate sports, cultural, and well-being programs, and humanitarian service and interfaith projects to promote international friendship. She is experienced in two contemplative practices: 200-level-hour Hatha Yoga instruction, and 21 years facilitating meditation workshops to adults and students, implementing Sri Chinmoy’s The Path of the Heart techniques.

Dr. Lunthita has completed more than two dozen marathons and three multi-days races. The longest distance she covered was 527 miles over 14 days.

Dr. Lunthita’s doctoral study, Gratitude, Heart-Centered Meditation, Adolescent School and Life Satisfaction: A Quasi-Experimental Intervention provided her professional and academic expertise on interventions to increase well-being (happiness).
