UM Yoga Day
Experience
University of Miami Yoga Day is a FREE festival for all of South Florida, including Hurricane students, faculty members, staff, alumni, friends & family members, fans of the University, and Yoga, mindfulness, and wellness enthusiasts in South Florida. But, everyone must REGISTER FOR THE EVENT, whether you pre-register here or register on the day of the event. There’s also no UM football game on Saturday 11/16, so you're free to come celebrate with us all day on campus and make new Yoga friends and reacquaint with old ones. Whether you're curious about Yoga and mindfulness and it's your first time, or whether you're a savvy veteran, we've got you covered!
Sessions on the schedule at University of Miami Yoga Day begin at 9 AM and will be going on till about 6:00 PM. They will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we advise you to plan out a day that makes you happy while remaining flexible and flowing in the moment. For those not into formal Yoga and meditation sessions, we’ll be having a 12 PM Yoga-themed scavenger hunt (with team prizes!), an our Acro Yoga play area, a speakers' panel on Reclaiming Wellness from a diverse array of perspectives, and a Kids Zone with morning sessions and activities for the little yogins.
Starting at 6:00 PM at night, we’ll have live feel-good music festivities featuring local artist Johan Danno, followed by a showcase acoustic performance by Drew McMannus of the band Satsang, fresh off their 2019 release Kulture.
Please follow the links on the main University of Miami Yoga Day page to learn more about the special experience we are planning for you.
Come and join us on campus on November 16! Go Canes!
NAMASTE UM.
